Directions

If using mapquest or google maps or a GPS, please beware of Hale Hollow Road. Coming from the East or North it may be suggested that you take 100a to Hale Hollow Road. Do not do this in the winter or spring. This is a snowmobile trail and you will get stuck – it’s also illegal.

Additional Directions

FROM POINTS SOUTH

  • Get yourself to I-87N (NY thruway).
  • Just south of Albany, exit onto I-787 N to Troy, NY.
  • Take exit 9E to merge onto RT-7 E toward Bennington/Troy.
  • Merge onto the Bennington Bypass, VT-279.
  • Take the ramp onto US 7-N.
  • Take exit 4 for VT-30/VT-11 E and merge onto VT-11 E.
  • Continue on 11E to Londonderry, VT.
  • Turn left on Rte 100 N. Stay on 100N (watch for places that 100N turns outside of Weston and in Ludlow).
  • Just outside of Ludlow, Rte 100N turns right. Continue for 9 miles to Plymouth.
  • Turn right on Rte 100A (Salt Ash Inn is on the corner).
  • Go 0.9 mile and turn right on Lynds Hill Rd.
  • Go 2.6 miles on the twisting, country road (You may think that you’re lost, but you aren’t!)
  • Bethany Birches Camp is on your right and is clearly marked. The cabin is on your right as you enter the parking lot.

FROM POINTS EAST

  • East and West travel is challenging in Vermont. Get out your map and get yourself to Rte. 4. Take it West through Woodstock and into Bridgewater. In Bridgwater Corners you’ll see a general store. Make a left there onto 100a.
  • Follow that for 6 or 7 miles.
  • Make a left on Lynds Hill Rd. (there will be a sign in the fair weather months)
  • Go 2.6 miles on the twisting, country road (You may think that you’re lost, but you aren’t!)
  • Bethany Birches Camp is on your right and is clearly marked. The cabin is on your right as you enter the parking lot.

FROM POINTS WEST

  • East and West travel is challenging in Vermont. Get out your map and get to Rte. 4 (in VT). Take it East through Rutland and into Killington. In after a long straight-away you’ll see two general stores. Make a right onto 100 South.
  • Follow that for 6 or 7 miles.
  • Make a left onto 100a
  • Go 0.9 Miles and turn right onto Lynds Hill Rd. (there will be a sign in the fair weather months)
  • Go 2.6 miles on the twisting, country road (You may think that you’re lost, but you aren’t!)
  • Bethany Birches Camp is on your right and is clearly marked. The cabin is on your right as you enter the parking lot.

FROM POINTS NORTH

  • Hop on 89 South. Take it to exit 1 for Woodstock/RT 4. Turn West off the exit onto RT. 4. Take it West through Woodstock and into Bridgewater. In Bridgwater Corners you’ll see a general store. Make a left there onto 100a.
